Grrr...someone stole my MAC!

I'm so mad right now. I made a big MAC order. I ordered lots of items from Euristocrats and Color Craft and someone stole it off my porch. I have 3 doors to my home and the brilliant UPS man decided to leave the box on the front porch and it's gone. gone gone gone. I have ordered from MAC many times and have never had my box stolen but then again usually the delivery man will leave it hidden by the side door or the back door. UGH I'm so aggravated. Now I have to wait 10 days for an investigation to be done. grrrr. I just had to vent.

I'm sorry to hear that. Nothing worse than having your personal belongings stolen. I hope that UPS and MAC are able to figure out who took your items.

I'm so sorry that happend to you! I don't get why someone will steal your MAC box that was on your porch. Did you e-mail Customer Service?

Wow, that's horrible.. for someone to just go to YOUR porch and take YOUR belongings is insane. I hope something works out and that you'll receive your items some how.

Did you call MAC? This happened to my friend once and they resent the items to her right away. It falls on them to make sure their method of delivery is secure.

Actually it depends...If you state that UPS can leave your pkgs without signature then it has to be investigated....That is the main reason I have a Postal Ctr Box so they can deliver all my pkgs there and a person signs for them....I have restricted delivery I never allow pkgs to be left w/o a signature

I am so sorry that it happened to you.
I had the same thing happen to me last year, the driver just left it on my porch and never knocked or anything. I just happened to check the tracking number online and it said delivered, I looked outside and all over, it had only been a few minutes according the the info and there was nothing. I did not hear the truck, as I was listening for it and my husband was outside and UPS would have had to walk by him to get to the dooor!
I told MAC customer service all of that and they reshipped my order, I contacted UPS and told them there was no way it was delivered at my house.

I got the reshipment a couple of days later and then on Saturday morning the original shipment showed up on the front porch! Called MAC and told them and they said that I could keep it for my trouble. It had not been opened or anything , so I did. I still dont know if it was delivered somewhere else, or the UPS guy got lazy and did not deliver when it said or what.

I agree, I'm so sorry. I don't understand why those drivers don't respect their job enough to do it properly. I've had many BAD experiences with the Norwegian Post too, but if someone store my MAC I think I'd die..

Thanks everyone. I was so mad about it I was dreaming about it yesterday. I talked to MAC yesterday and due to the amount of the order they have to launch an investigation with UPS and that could take up to 8 business days. After the results they will ship my order out again. I asked the rep why I had to wait until the investigation was over since it is clearly UPS at fault and she said that's just the policy because the amount of the order but assured me they would ship out my items again because I had already paid for everything and it's between them and UPS now. I just wish they would send me my stuff right away. I was really looking forward to opening that black box.

It´s great that MAC will resend your order and will take it up with UPS on your behalf. Still though, it really sucks that your box was stolen in the first place.

I definatley feel your pain,I had a few Sephora boxes stolen from me a few years ago from the bottom of my stairs at my apartment complex where the mailboxes are.I was soooo pissed,I had to an investigation and I ended up getting my money back.Good to hear MAC is replacing your order!

That sorta happened to me recently. I was waiting for a big order I placed when they were having that sale. I was tracking it everyday, even though it said it was on schedule, haha. Anyways, it was suppose to deliver on Friday, but it didn't. I checked the tracking info and it said that they left it on my front porch. But nothing. I thought someone stole it too. So I called MAC and they told me the same thing about 8 day investigation. But, the thing was the UPS guy delivered it to the wrong house. So the neighbor that got my package, opened the box, realized it wasn't his and called my aunt to tell her he had the package. (I live in a gated community in my aunts house) I got my stuff like 4 days later. Those 4 days sucked too.

Anyways, hopefully it turns up. Maybe you should let them know not to leave it in the front so it won't happen again.

I use to hate that my UPS delivery guy would leave packages without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door... not even the courtesy warning and then leaving back to his car. I usually planned to be home when my packages where coming because I use to live on a busier street next to a library and across from a restaurant.

I use to work for Sony I hated having to tell people that they had to wait for an investigation to rereceive their package... especially when it was a birthday gift. It had to do with insurance purposes... for us. We use to have an option to have a refund issues after the investigation and let the person reorder their items... and we provided them with free overnight shipping. See if that's an option in your situation.

grrr again. Something told me to call MAC today to check on the status of the "investigation" and what do I find out.....the girl I talked to on Friday never initiated the investigation ugh so the process was just started today. ugh I just want my damn order

I'm sorry this happened to you. UPS is evil. They just get lazy and careless sometimes. You'd think that they would have a little more respect seeing as how they are handling peoples personal belongings... but alas we do not live in a perfect world.

It's not just UPS, most carriers do that. The thing is they, it's not their stuff, so why should they care? It is the same thing at airports with the people that handle checked baggage. I usually sit where I can see them load and unload and I wince.

I hate it when postman do things like that. When i received pleasureflush the postman stuck it under a empty plantpot i had next to my frontdoor. My neighbour across teh street called me as i was opening the door to tell me there was some package for me left under the pot. Thanks got for noise <<(did i spell that correct) neighbours that like to be all up in your business lol!. I would have been MAD if someone would have took it.
