My foundation came this morning! I wore it today and I am very impressed! It has a beautiful glowing finish, glides over the skin weightlessly, and it lasted very well on me. I’ll keep wearing it and let y’all know if anything changes.

Thanks for the review...keep us updated. I don’t trust many of these you-tube reviews anymore. I’d rather hear opinions from one of us...

always been a fan of Guerlain foundation, I own them all over the years. What get me every time is the shade 02, it is always a perfect match for my skin tone no matter the foundation from Parure, to Parure extreme to Lingerie de peau . I remember a couple years ago when Dior launch their Forever foundation with like 25 shades and I have a hand covered by foundation and all the undertone were just not good and then the SA was like oh have you seen Guerlain have a new foundation? and I was like yah i'm shade 02 and one drop on my hand in the middle of all the Dior foundation swatch was the perfect tint for my face. i walk out of the store with a new Guerlain foundation in my bag. :)

I love Guerlain foundations too! They are my favorite of the luxury department store brands (Chanel, Dior, Armani, etc). I used to LOVE Parure Lumiere and was so disappointed when it was discontinued. I was hoping they were just revamping it like they did with Lingerie de Peau and Parure Gold. I think the new L'Essential foundation fills the gap that Parure Lumiere left behind. I also am so happy it doesn't contain alcohol. I really like Parure ahold, but alcohol is too high on the ingredient list for my skin to be able to tolerate. Sometimes alcohol doesn't bother me, but it does when it's that high up.

Im always 2 as well. I'm 2N in this new formula.

their foundations are beautiful finish and texture. top notch BUT the shade range sucks so much. I am really hoping they work on this

That was my favourite foundation too! Was also very disappointed when they discontinued it.

Recently tried Giorgo Armani Luminous Silk foundation, that's the only one that comes close to it. Didn't like Lingerie de Peau and Parure Gold is too heavy/full coverage for everyday use.

I'm really excited about this foundation. I wore it all weekend, and it performs really well! Also, a random woman complimented my skin while I had it on, and my husband also complimented my skin while I was wearing it.
