Guess what MAC PRO told me?

I called the MAC PRO line today (US one, and Canadian one).

The ladies I spoke with both said that 'collections' are not eligible for the PRO discount, and that if I ever received one, that I should feel lucky, because that was a no-no. I was calling because I wanted to know if Canada would ever get Y & Kei, not even caring about discount, and they said

"Just like every other collection (including liquidlast) and other LE items, there is no discount available. Discounts apply only to perm. collection."

Has anyone else heard of this?

you can get your discount on le items, but not on le items with special packaging... the discount applies to collections like sweetie cakes and sundressing but not to Y and Kei since we wernt supposed to get it anyway...

I got an email promoting the new May releases - the only things that the PRO discount couldn't be used for were Y & Kei and the try on packs.

The collections with LE colors which has normal packaging...i still get discounts...but I know try on packs or christmas palettes doesn't have discount. They say because palettes are already cheaper.

I've always gotten my pro discount on all LE collections so far (including Belle Azure) except for Icon 3, Y & Kei, & Try On Pacs. Whoever you spoke to is incorrect in her information.

I think someone must have been totally new and gave you completely false info. I know you can't get the discount on the Holiday sets and things like the Y & Kei, the Temperly palette and a very few other items that came out but as far as most LE things...you definitely get the discount.
