Okay so this monday just gone I had my hair cut quite short and dyed back to blonde.
First of all I don't think the blonde suits me anymore, I've got used to and prefer being darker.

Problem is literally the day after I have my hair cut I see the trailer for Quantum Of Solace and absolutely fall in love with Gemma Arterton's hair.
My hair is quite a bit shorter than hers and as many short layers, also It's now blonde and her's is a gorgeous arburn shade.

So I have a couple of questions, how long will my hair take to grow to her lenght and if I dye it that color in lets say a month time will the color turn out okay or will it go pink because I'm blonde?

Here's a photo of Gemma (you may need to copy and paste):

Hair grows 1/2 every month so depending on how short your hair is, i would say 5-6 months, but remember trimming your hair every 6-8 weeks will help the growing process because it gets rid of the dead ends.

colorwise, what is your natural hair color?
if your hair is really blond i suggest you go 1 darker shade of auburn and use a color shampoo to help stop the fading process.

everyone's hair grows at different rates. some people's hair can grow up to a half an inch per month.

if you want to help speed up the process, make sure you're giving your hair proper nutrients. you're going to want to have plenty of calcium and protein in your system, and you may want to start taking a biotin supplement. biotin works wonders for some people, and it definately won't hurt even if it doesn't make miracles happen for you.

as for the colouring, i'd go to a professional. auburns are kind of tricky, and a store bought one will definately fade.
