hair dye on 239 brush?

Alright so I was dying my hair the other night and i spilled a drop of black hair dye on my 239 brush and didn't notice it at the time but just did now. Is this still safe to use on my eye even if I've washed it around eight times? I'm that stupid where I thought it was makeup rofl. I just don't want to have to buy a new 239 brush if I don't have to. I think now that you have washed it, it will be fine to use. I can't see there being a problem with it.

As long as you washed out all the excess dye I'm sure you'll be okay using it :]
