My hair was a blondish color. My natural color is a darker brown..
Well, i decided to go back to my natural color.. and when i went to get it done, they used a filler on my hair.. which turned it red.. and then they dyed a brown over top of that.. Well, now my hair is reddish brown.. and definately not my natural color.. does anyone know if this red filler will fade and leave my natural color? thanks alot!

No. It wont. the whole color is gonna fade within the next few weeks so id wait it out and see how it turns out 2-3 weeks. .. why on earth did they use a red filleR? esp . if your hair was lighter to begin with. if they thought it would turn ashy.. red deff. was not the color to use. thats werid.

I have no idea why they used red.. They didnt even tell me it would turn red until after they put it in my hair.. and now there is just too much red in it for me.. all i wanted was my brown back. *L* I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.. Thanks!

If your hair was dyed blonde and they had put a brown tint all over it would have gone green, hence the use of a redbased filler.
If they hadn't used a filler your hair colour would fade very very quickly. The red helps the brown bond into the blonde.

I used to work in a salon but am by no means an expert.....maybe their is a colourist on the boards who can explain the scientific stuff
