hair removal cream

so i'm fed up of shaving my bikini area (i have a small strip and that is it) so i thought maybe hair removal cream would be good. i bought a veet one yesterday which seemed middle of the price range and it said that you should use it for 5 mis but no longer than 10. i left it on for the full 10 mins and then used the scraper thing to get rid of the cream. needless to say it did not remove my hair! now i had about 7 days worth of stubble so not too short and not too long. it was all completely covered in cream but it left me with what felt like 2 day old stubble!

so does anybody know of a good hair removal cream?! because i was not impressed at all with the veet one! plus it had a really weird smell to it! i've tried waxing strips before but can never seem to do it right. and i'd love to go to my spa to get a bikini wax but i feel embarrassed - i mean i'm a big girl and the thought of spreading my flabby thighs is kinda scarey!

hair removal creams have never never worked for me ...i guess i got some crazy strong/ thick mexican scottish hairs ??? Idk.

I dont think you have any reason to be embarrassed to get it done at a salon. Pick one you feem comfortable at..a professional place. They see all types of gals, a nice professional place should never make you feel embarrassed. good luck dear !

Hair removal creams always give me a rash...Last week I was telling my friend that I found this Sally Hansen Quick & Easy Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit...I said I know it's not gonna work but I wil give it a try. You don't heat it in the microwave you warm it between your hands for about 5 sec then put it on the area and rip....Ok I ripped and felt no pain (it gets really warm too from the hand friction) so I said I knew this crap wouldn't work...Looked at the strip and Oh yeah it had tons of hair and I was smooth as a babies butt....Supposed to last up to 8 weeks and it comes with 17 double sides strips so a total of 34 and this freezing oil you apply directly after...felt so cool and good. It's for Face, Brows & Underarm, legs (too small) & Bikini....I started waxing everything...Upper lip, brows...I had so much fun. There are three different size strips for each area..It states works on short hair...and mine was stubble

yeah one day i should pluck up the courage and just go to get waxed where i get my facial done! i guess they have seen it all before.... but my thighs are the part of my body that i'm most paranoid about! plus because i've not done it before and i do something wrong like completely opening my legs showing her EVERYTHING?!

or worst still - fart in her face?!

tish these sally hansen quick and easy wax kits sound interesting. i'll see if we have them in the uk!

^^ i know right.....the only person I let wax my twat is my dh....I am just not ready for the salon thing yet, Plus I can kick him and curse him the heck out if it hurts....I need to be in a drs office for a twat wax

your hubby is a saint if he helps! mine would just laugh at me! or he might try and pay me back for the time i waxed his crack. i pulled the srip off him but there was still wax on his 'inner cheeks'! i let the cheek go so both cheeks got stuck together with wax! needless to say it hurt like a bitch when i peeled his cheeks apart and now he's happy with a hairy crack!
