hair stylist and colorists... i have a ??

im going in on tuesday for an appt for "highlights" but i dont want a normal liek streaks and stuff. i want something more like this

im not positive i can bring in a pic bc every printer i have is black and white, so how can i explain what i want.

Well, IMO I think those are extensions. But I think you are looking for slices underneath the crown, there is no set pattern like with a "weave".

regaurdless if they are, there is a highlighting technique called peek-a-boo or hidden highlights, but i am going to this new guy and he seems awesome and said he learned a new technique to do it, so imma let him try it on me, and if it turns out bad, he'll just fix it.
