Hairdressers or Barbers for teen son’s haircut?

My husband wants our son (13 years old) to go to his barbers for his haircuts from now on but I think he should keep going to my hairdressers because she knows how to do it properly.

Who’s right here because we’ve had a argument about it? What do your teen son’s do?

My sons hair is slightly longer than most boys hair so that’s also another reason why I think my hairdresser should keep on doing it.

We live in the UK if that makes any difference?

He's not sure but he usually agrees with me on most things. But I also don't want him to feel like he can't have his own opinions on things if you get what I mean

Yeah, that's why I asked what he wants to do. He's the one getting the cuts so should have a say-so.

Completely agree. I'll guess I'll have to just wait until he decides. My husband will still argue with me though even if my son picks the hairdressers x

My son hasn't said that he feels uncomfortable going to the hairdresser or doesn't want to go. It's my husband that has randomly decided It's time for a change
