Hallo all! I'm new not only to the site, but to MAC as well. I was introduced to the company by friends in the vintage community.
There's a bit of polarisation to my character - I love the beach, the ocean and sport (particularly running), so the makeup may come off several times a day and I'll be in and out of the shower after sun, sweat and the sea. On the other hand, I collect 1920s vintage clothing and tend to have a 20s vibe going most of the time, even when I'm not wearing original vintage. I've kept the makeup fairly simple until now - the clear smooth skin, dark eyes imitating the kohl eye makeup popular in the 20s, and red lipstick. I love the effects I've seen from the accomplished makeup artists, and would like to learn more about their application. I like contemporary spins on the vintage theme as well as straightforward replication of vintage styles! Last week I went out and bought a basic kit (the makeup case needed an overhaul anyway) - had lots of fun with the girls in MAC at Myers!
