Has anyone washed their MAC Kabuki?

I want to know if anyone has washed their brush yet. I don't mean wiping it off with brush cleaner. I mean a full wash, a shampoo. I want to know if the brush changes shape or density after washing.

I washed it yesterday. It was fuller today when I used it. I put it back into the plastic container that it came in. It went in just fine. I LOVE this brush! =)

Same here,... I washed mine about a week ago,. let it dry on its side and it was still as velvety and soft,...

Yup...same here...if anything, it's even a little softer than it was before I washed it!

Do you know if MAC's kabuki is softer than Bare Escentuals ?

how is MAC's kabuki brush's texture in comparison to the Sephora bronzer brush?

I'm not sure if this is the bronzing brush, but I have a Sephora Professional brush that's the same shape as a kabuki, just with a longer handle. It's actually denser and fluffier than the MAC, but definitely not as soft. Actually, I think it feels a bit scratchy compared to the MAC, and I also noticed it sheds a little bit when I wash it.


Anyways, the reason I revived this topic was because I just washed my kabuki brush for the first time. Did anyone else find that it stank?! I washed it with J&J's baby shampoo, and it smells pretty gross now (but I can only notice if I get the brush close to my face, which I did, to make sure that all the hairs are in the right shape). This never happened to any of my other brushes... anyone know what's up?
