I starting going through So Ceylon like crazy because I was using it as a bronzer. I stopped using it once I realized how much I had used. I only have one so I am trying to conserve. But others, like Porcelain Pink, I have backups of so I don't worry too much.

I haven't even come close, but I worry that I'll run out of Lightscapade quickly because I use it every day. It gives me a perfect glow. I'm trying to find an alternative for it. The closest I've found is Pure Luxe's "April's Mix" mineral blend.

maybe it's just me, but i feel like they get used up faster then blushes, bronzers and the irridescent powders! i've had some of my blushes for years and have never finished one -- but i'm getting dangerously close to the pan in lightscapde....but i can't stop bc i LOVE it!!! what a sense of inevitable doom!!!

I think so too, I guess that's b/c they are baked...so they are looser...? I don't know if that makes sense....

I heard an MA say that the mineralize items contain mineral particles that are larger than regular foundation/blush/etc all other powder cosmetic particles, this means that they wont clog pores, etc. So if the other products are more finely milled then it would seem thats why they last forever whereas the mineralize products tend to finish quickly.

MSFs? you can order the natural MSFs through the pro number, or pick them up at any mac retail locations, also through maccosmetics.com. the natural MSFs are not limited edition.

the colored, limited edition versions, (i.e. stereo rose, pleasureflush, etc.) have all been released with collections, and were only available for purchase until the stock ran out.

I've only used up the natural msf before
it took me about.. 6 months I think to go though and finish the whole thing .. but then again I use more on my whole face then one would use for just a blush or bronzer

There are dupes of Lighscapde if you are seriously afraid you are going to run out. I have read of different pigments and Pearlizers being used to dupe it, and there is also another cosmetic company that makes a similar product with the exact veining pattern. I have seen it on Specktra and elsewhere, but I don't remember the name.

I also wonder if using the Silver Dusk Irridescent Powder paired with a light pink blush would also dupe it. Really the possibilities are endless, and it gives you an excuse to buy more products. You might even find a dupe you like better, if that's possible.
