Also, Eye<3Colour, thank you for the warning. I was just looking through pigment auctions today, and I would've hated to buy from someone who would do that to you. -_-

she is no longer a registared user. so my bet is that she got herself a new name!! but her pigment sample auctions, you can tell they are hers because she shows the actual mac jars and has written on them with a paint pen, the color they are!!! she screwed up big time!! she got so many negatives and neutrals with in a month, no one would end up buying from her!!

I've gotten a lot of good pigment samples off ebay, though I did ashamedly buy a 'new' lipglass that ended up being a dirty tested tube. Ugh, so that fixed my naivete about testers.

If the seller's f/b looked good, and the pic of the item was okay you should be fine

I didnt get another pic of the lipglass I won, and should have, when I noticed a bubble of air in the tube (ie, it was used).

I had to take my info off paypal, ebay + mac was getting waaay too addictive!

I buy pigments samples and I've never had a problem with any buyers. But I always check the feeback before I bid. I check to see what the negatives and neutrals say. Depending on what they say (an honest mistake to more disreputable practices), I then decide to bid.

The other thing I look at is shipping. A lot of times, they will try to gouge you on the shipping. I know that you have to buy shipping and other materials, but $6 for a little thing of pigment is ridiculous.

I do and haven't really had any trouble with anything I have gotten. Just make sure they have no negatives for selling old/bad products. Dawn

i've only bought a beauty powder (new but no box) from someone on ebay, it arrived quickly and without any damages. i think if you're interested in purchasing on ebay, just make sure to take precautions and make sure you know exactly what you're getting. better safe than sorry

I get a lot of my MAC from Ebay as I can get hold of things before they are released over here in Blighty.
I am very impatient :)
A couple of sellers who are fabulous are Adajacobs and Ms_spring.
Never had any problems so far *touches wood*
