I'm heading to the Pro or MAC store tomorrow and need eyeshadow and eyeliner recs for a natural eye look that i will be doing for an interview on Tuesday. I have brown eyes, black hair and I am MUFE HD Foundation in 120. I was matched to MAC NC35 in SFF but it is too dark for me so I can be a NC25-30. what shade of eyeshadows and eyeliner would you recommend?

I've got an interview this week too, so I've been looking for good neutral shades. I didn't have anything matte, so I picked up a few things. The combo I'm really liking is:

Dazzlelight on the lid
Wedge in the crease, blended towards browbone
Espresso in defined crease
Handwritten in the outer V (though I may just use Espresso, can't decide if it's too much or not)
Vanilla to highlight
Teddy to line, with Espresso smudged over it

I tried it with Blacktrack, but it just seemed too harsh for the look I was going for. Personally, I'm going for a defined but soft eye with neutral cheeks and lips. I'm going to wear Blushbaby on my cheeks and Bare Slimshine on my lips.

Hope this helps some and good luck with your interview!

My favorite neutral eye (I'm NW 20)
bare canvas paint or bare study p/p as a base
vanilla to highlight
jete all over the eye
wedge or down brown in the crease
Teddy on the waterline

Lips I do very simply with just a gloss such as love nectar or something else with a pinky color to it.

I have several variations depending on my mood (I'm an NC42)

As i had posted under another thread, here are some of the combos I use:

Highlight: Vanilla, Light Ray, or Dazzlelight
Lid: Era, Charcoal Brown, Omega, or Amber Lights
Crease: Mulch, Satin Taupe, or Folie
Outer V: Brun, Mystery, or Alum

My personal fave:
Light Ray
Mulch
Amber Lights
Alum

Or...the Smoking Eyes quad from the Smoke Signals collection...HTH!
