I didn't think I'd love the texture this much but it makes application and blending so easy! The only thing I don't like is the fallout, but I can deal. With the e/s being so lovely, I can deal with some grains on my lashes!

I did get a backup, but before this thread was started. Now that I know I can use it as a highlighter, I'm so glad I did. Much thanks for the tip, MACgirl

Which makes me wonder what other uses can we find for mses. Could Burning Ambition be used as a bronzer? Also Illusionary, Element and Brightside as highlighters for the face? I imagine Interview could be used as a blush or blush highlighter to then. Time to experiment.

thanks guys! and i used my 187, it was the exact size of the eyeshadow duo, i just placed it on tyop of the whole duo and swirled untill i go enough of the colors (by this time they are mixed on my brush, they dont however swirl together (at least not for me) which is good so i could still use them as shadow. I got a back up of it yesterday!! oh and i havent tried any other duo as a msf bu i will experiment tomorrow with intriview and purple x (not alot of purpe x tho!)

The pink one (interview?) worked great as a cheek highlight.

I tried it the other night randomly.

Also, purple x worked great as an eyeliner with a damp 266 brush. It reminded me of a brighter version of macroviolet fluidline. I used it over Haunting from Lure and it stayed really well.

Ack, that's good news! I haven't gotten Macroviolet yet b/c I'd like it brighter... I'm glad I can use Purple X!

thanks so much for this tip!

i was never a fan of the old mineralize shadows, until i started using aristocrat as a blush. for some reason, using heat/element on my cheeks didn't cross my dense mind, lol. i feel that new new mineralize duos are SO much nicer than the old mineralize shadows...

spray your brush with fix+ first. it really minimizes fallout.(the mua gave me this tip,it doesn't make the shadow dry crusty at all and it still blends like a dream).
