So I went to the Mac freestanding store yesterday and as I was purchasing my goodies I told the MA I had 12 empties for B2M..So I start taking them out of the bag, and shes looking at them and she goes "what is this?" Im like its an empty e/s pot and thats an empty blush pot..
She says "How did you get them out without breaking them?"

I just looked at her and laughed. I then told her how I learned to depot here

She was amazed!

It was just so funny, all the MAs were so impressed with the fact tht the case was still intact but the e/s was missing lol..

Hahah, the one time I took empties in for B2M, the MA started counting them and looked sort of startled and said, "What happened to these??!?" He was new, so when I started explaining the whole depotting thing, he looked at me like I was from Mars.

Yeah I got the same thing when I was at the new counter in Halifax - they thought it was an urban legend ~lol~

@ this post. I just put my bag of 46 empty e/s pots in my tote bag. I want to make sure I have them when I go get my l/s tomorrow. They will probably look at me crazy too!

all the MAs at my nordstrom counter are just like, "oh, you depot yours too?" and i guess a few of them got together one night and had a depotting party. they're soooo cute.

apparently depotting is completely insane! hah. I posted a tutorial on how to depot milani/jane shadows to put in the mac palette in one of my groups on myspace, and I got a lot of replies like "why are you burning the eyeshadows!!?"
and then i explain it to them and they think I'm god haha.
