Greetings and salutations from Dover, New Hampshire-!

An Introduction:

I am a young lady born and raised in California. I recently moved out here to the East Coast in January for new experiences you can say. There aren't any MAC or Sephoras around my area, to my great disappointment. But last week, I found a mall an hour away, right above the Massachusetts border in a town called Salem, A SEPHORA!!! AND A MAC COUNTER!!

SCORE!

Now, a brief history about make-up and I. My mother (father as well) is Japanese and she has been doing Japanese Folk dance since she was 4 and does still occasionally. I have been watching her, growing up, painting her skin white, her lips like a bow, and drawing the very oriental looking liner. I was fascinated by this.
I have always been fascinated by my school mates and their makeup collection in elementary school. But one problem. I had no idea how it worked. I also do not have the visible eye creases most people have, and feel that it has greatly limited me. My friends say that it is impossible for me to wear shadow or eye liner. I still feel that it limits me, but I now look at it more as a challenge. and try many techniques, so that in the future I can help other girls like me.

I am still learning skills even the basics, but I want to become great at it. The Absolute Best at it!

You'll find some excellent tutorials on this site from many Asian lovelies who prove that they can rock eye make-up just as hard as people with visible creases. It sounds like you might be making your own tutorials to share very soon!
