I love this site! I've been reading for several weeks, and finally decided to register. I'm relatively new to the MAC addiction. I have red hair, hazel/green eyes, light skin with lots of freckles. I'm always looking for new looks, and love seeing pics of real people on here! (The swatches on the MAC site can be really deceiving!).

Anyway, I'm going to place an order for the new xmas colours, and was looking for suggestions

I missed out on Parrot last year, but wonderd: are any of the new xmas colours close?

hi and welcome!! Blue Absinthe is sort of in the Parrot family, but I find it slightly greener. On my skin they do look very similar so you may want to check that one out! Also if you want to copy the second part of your post & make a new post in recs I bet you'll get lots more replies for the Christmas stuff there! Let any of the mods know if you need anything!

welcome to specktra... im with midnightlouise, u may want to put the question in the recs section... u will def get a better response. i missed out on parrot too but i heard that blue absinthe is greener... i wouldnt be able to swatch them for you cuz (well i dont have parrot unfortunatly) but i can tell you that i think blue absinthe is a very pretty color!!! and it would look nice with ur hair coloring...
