Hello from NYC (or Chicago...?!)

Hi everyone! I'm a new poster but long time reader! I recently moved from NYC to Chicago (not sure how long I'm staying) and have gotten into a nasty binge makeup-buying habit lately! I have yet to check out the giant 4 floor Ulta in Chicago. Anyone been there?

My favorite makeup brands: MAC, Too Faced, Revlon, NYX, and Victoria's Secret! Why don't more people review/talk about VS makeup!? I have yet a bad experience with any of their products!

Well I'm a 4th generation New Yorker/New Jersey...er...ian?

I lived on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for nearly 6 years after moving from NJ. Both sides of my family are from NYC. I moved to Chicago about a month ago (moved in with my boyfriend who I was dating long distantly for about a year now), and I'll be honest, I'm not really a fan of Illinois.

I mean, it's alright an all, but it's no NYC

. However, I'm trying to stay optimistic about it and make the best of things! Right now I'm living in the suburbs RIGHT outside the city (maybe 10-15 minutes outside the city), and plan on moving to the Lincoln Park area of the city (if I decide to stay... I'm actually secretly trying to convince the boyfriend to move back to NYC with me

)!

lol i'm sure you can manage to convince him.i think id be feeling home sick if u loved living in place and then move to somewhere completley diffrent. although you have got make up to keep a smile on ur face
