Hi everyone! I'm Miss P from AZ. I'm happy to be here and I admire the talent and knowledge I've seen on this forum.
I've loved makeup since watching my mother get ready to go out back in the 80s era when everything was big (hair, earrings, shoulderpads).
When MAC counters first appeared in town a coworker told me that was makeup for drag queens and if you get your makeup done there it would look whorish. I have nothing against drag queens, but this pronouncement made me think MAC wasn't for me so I stayed away, even though it all looked pretty and fashion forward.
Finally a MAC store came to town. I started getting makeovers and buying products! I realized that inside I really was a MAC girl, into big glamor and not afraid!
Now I've been clued into the MAC underground and I'm excited!
I spoke to the person who originally "warned" me about MAC. She said its pretty much all she uses nowadays. HA!
Here is a story if you are interested
