Help can't press pigments

So I've pressed loads of mac pigments never had an issue until tonight I've tried to press neo orange and magenta madness both had dried solid and almost plastic I can't shift them out of my pan and they are rock hard and no colour coming off them please help :?

Those are matte pigments, you shouldn't be using alcohol to press them because it will ruin the pigment (as you experienced). You need to get a pigment pressing solution that is appropriate for matte pigments because matte shades don't have the same binders as non-matte shades. I know they exist but I've never heard of anyone having much luck with matte shadow pressing mediums. I personally don't even press my matte pigments.

I'm giving up lol prefer the funky pot they come in! I'm just greedy wanted pressed ones for palette when travelling. I've tried alsorts I read aloe vera gel but that didn't work either! Shame I've wasted half a pot trying x
