Hi everyone, first post here
I hope you can help me choose the right foundation for my skin type - I've already got it wrong once - so any help would be much appreciated.
I bought Select Moistureblend in NC15 but it really doesn't work for my skin. The colour is almost fine (a little dark near the jawline) but I can't get the texture to work for me.
My skin is mainly normal but with dry patches. I get the occasional break out so need something with medium coverage.
I exfoliate before applying and have tried it with and without moisturising first, with and without Prep + Prime, with and without powder, applied with a brush, fingers and sponge and it always looks terrible on my skin. It seems to separate instantly and looks really cakey and not just where the dry patches are. It also creases and makes me look wrinkled.
It clearly doesn't work for my skin type and I find a lot of other foundations tend to look really cakey no matter how lightly I put it on.
So my question is, what MAC foundation would you recommend for me? (I'm in the UK)
