Help! Green concealer for rosy cheeks

I bought this green cream concealer made by Physicians Formula at a drugstore and I applied about two strokes each cheek. Furthermore, I blended it with a sponge and I'm blending, blending, blending. The green didn't seem to go away? what's up? Is it maybe, I applied too much? What is the best concealer for reddish pigment in skin and how it's applied? I'm open to any recommendations....

Only use the tiniest ammount and try mixing it with a little of your foundation or usual concealer, that should make it easier to apply

Green concealer should be applied sparingly and only in the red areas. If it's a thicker formulation, use a wedge sponge and pat it ever so lightly until it neutralizes the redness.

Other options are MUFE's Primer in green (fluid), Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer in Green or Armani's Master Corrector.
