Hey lovelies!

I just sold a quad I depotted but I don't have the quad box or any sleeves for it!

So how can I wrap it so it doesn't arrive broken or messed up?

Do you think I can get those sleeves at my MAC counter?

Hope this is the right forum to post!

why don't you just use a bubble padded envelope and maybe wrap it with some bubble wrap as well, for that extra padding?

Yeah I could try that but I don't know if the e/s rubs against the wrap and the whole powder flies across the whole envelope!

When I don't have any empty sleeves I just cut two pieces of cardboard down to size and tape them back to back and slip the pan ES in between them. Then tape the whole thing well, wrap in bubble wrap and mail in a bubble mailer.

I was just going to write exactly what Janice said. It works great for postcards too.

Yes the cardboard idea is a good one. Don't ever make the same mistake I did once... mailed 4 e/s in a 4-palette and didn't wrap the e/s pans individually. Well, 2 of them came loose and shattered. I should have known better and I replaced them... learned my lesson!

yea, I had a pan recently arrive and it was just wrapped in bubble wrap and a substantial amount rubbed off.

Another thing I've done before I started saving all the boxes/sleeves, was to put a cotton ball on top of the e/s and then wrap tape around it, then, wrap in tissue paper, then cardboard, then bubble wrap it all. I try and assure it is gonna have a safe trip! Good Luck!
