Shiseido Eyelash Curler $16 CDN comes with 2 rubber pads
I use my curler everday and replace the pads every 3-4 months (or when i notice it's not curling as effectively) and replacement curler pads are $5 CDN. and each replacement pack comes with 2 pads

I'm still using the same curler since 2003!! It was my first eye lash curler that I wasn't scared of and still my number 1. I remember the horrific experience with my big sis's cheap eyelash curler from Walmart (some no name brand) when i was 14....it ripped out a few lashes...and i thought i was scarred for life. But while at the Chanel counter for my prom makeover, she suggested Shiseido even tho she reps for Chanel

It's really worth it! Also you could be the technique of curling...make sure you're tilting the curler so ur not pulling so hard on ur roots so u eyelid lifts. Curling should be done in several soft presses and press fewer and fewer times as you move towards the tips of ur lashes to make it curl instead of the old 90 degrees.

I recommend the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Its $18 at Sephora but its well worth it, the best I've used. I also really like Tarte's eyelash curler. It doesn't have the little rings to slip your fingers through so its a bit easier to use for some people. The Tarte one is $15.

definately shu uemuras curler...it comes with one extra spare pad but after that u gotta buy a whole new curler coz they dont sell refills. its good coz they fit any any shape and it feels sooo much better than a regular cheapy one.

I bought a shu from ebay for total of $19 usd including shipping because its too expensive to ship to canada from sephora. It works well. It works even better if you take your blowdryer and heat it a bit. Be careful not to overcrimp lol.
