Help!! Lip Conditioner (tube)

Hi! Can you please help? I only have one question: I got Mac Lip Conditioner in the tube and I was wondering if it's okay. Does yours have a strange smell, like rubber or petroleum? When I apply it, it seems vanilla-scented, but after a couple of minutes it's disgusting! Also, it is transparent and slightly yellow: is it as it should be?

I have had the same experience with the tube lip conditioners. They have a very spf taste, like most chapsticks etc with spf. There's nothing wrong with them though,that's just how it is. Mine however was clear, and didn't have a yellowish tinge to it.

Yea, mine has a nasty taste for a bit. Mine wasn't necessarily yellow, but it was a bit off white. Can't say i ever liked the taste, but my lips felt great!

The lip conditioner without spf is a clear yellow colour and it is mainly petroleum jelly so that's probably why it smells like that. I love the stuff and use it all the time.

I love the tube because I have melted some sticks in the car from leaving them in my bag so the tube or pot will NOT melt.But the new tendertones are awsome.They don't leave that chappy dry waxy feel after an hour.I buying a load!
