Help me figure out my shade please?

Sorry for the comical picture, but I'd rather not post my full picture on the internet :) The coloring in this photo is pretty accurate as well.

Anyways, as you can see, the foundation I'm using right now does not match the rest of my body. I want to find a color that is like my arms/chest/neck. My skin tone is not exactly dark, or even tan really, but I'm not considered light or pale because I have a very yellowish tint to my skin lol. I've tried numerous foundations but I feel like I always end up with a very beige face with pink undertones. I went to a MAC counter and the MUA said I was a C4, does that sound about right to you guys?

My skin looks very glowy but when I use a foundation, my face seems really dull and flat in comparison. But if I use a highlighter or a foundation with a dewy finish, my face looks oily instead of glowy.

What MAC foundation and in what shade should I get?
What shade would be best for me with Revlon's Colorstay AND Photoready, as well?

BTW, if you're wondering, I am using Vincent Longo's Sheer Matte Foundation in Light Beige in that picture. Obviously not the best choice lol...

NC 20, 25, or even 30. I don't use the Face & Body foundations. I go with NC30 myself, but I think I'm more inbetween a 25 and 30.

Revlon - anything with Buff or Nude is a possibility - they're more yellow based. I'm not sure of the line colours as they seem to vary depending on the foundation formulation, but those would be my best bets.

Our skintone looks very similar.

NC30, IMO! As for the formula, I'd try something light, i.e. Mac's Select. I don't think you need much coverage: your skin is almost perfect!

I have exactly all of the same problems that you describe, it's so frustrating!

MAC only make a the C4 shade in Face & Body and Studio Fix Powder (to my knowledge) and both of those products run lighter than other MAC foundations (like Studio Sculpt) so I think C4 is about right for you in those two foundations. But in the other MAC foundations like Mineralize Satinfinish I would say that you are about NC30.

I alternate between Studio Sculpt (this has a fair amount of coverage so does make my face look a bit flat and dull) and Mineralize Satinfinish (this is more sheer/dewy and needs powdering)...I haven't found my ideal and I've tried a lot...MAC fairs better than most for me. Another good foundation well suited to yellow/olive tones is NARS Sheer Glow, check that out if you can, your colour would probably be 'Punjab' in that...
