Help needed - makeup overhaul

Hey, i've never posted before so i'm hoping this is in the right section!

I'm just looking for some general makeup advice with regards to colours I should be wearing. I'm awful with makeup in fact i'm clueless. I have no idea what suits me and i'm fed up of looking plain so I wondered if anyone could help me out and tell me what I should be wearing to make me look more vibrant!

I think that if you did something with a little liner, mascara, and a neutral shimmery eyeshadow that would be a good way to get rolling and you can gradually add more color when you feel like it. Just test things out until you find something that works for you. Or what you could always do is go to a makeup counter and ask what colors suit your skintone.
Personally i think blues or greens would suit you but, i could be wrong. That's just waht i've got to say
