Help Needed

I really can't figure out whether or not I am NW or NC. The veins on the underside of my arm look bluish-green to me, lol. I went to an estee lauder counter once and the lady told me I was Cool toned, and then 5 minutes later at the Prescriptives counter some other MA told me I was Warm toned. :what:

I am fairly dark, tan easily, wear Medium Tan in Bare Minerals (this shade works really well for me). I bought Stila's tinted moisturizer in Warm and I think it is too warm for me (it's hard to tell with moisturizers) I was always under the impression that I was NW, but I am asian and i have been noticing that almost all asians are NC.

Can I just assume that I am NC because I am asian, or are there NW asians as well? do i actually have to drive billions of miles to the nearest MAC counter? Or can i buy like an NC 35 with an NW 30 and mix them together or something?

Thanks in advance

I can't tell on me either - my veins also look bluish-green! I always thought I was warm-toned, but at MAC they told me I'm NW20 (although that is only for undereye concealer...I don't use foundation...could it be different for the underye area?).

my concealer is nw while my foundation is nc. so to answer your question, yes it could be different

Okay, that's good to know! Is there any other way of telling whether I am warm or cooled toned besides the veins on my wrist? I guess I should just go into MAC and ask, hey?

NC is for yellow undertones and NW is for pink undertones. Judging by your avatar, which it's hard to do, you are probably anywhere between an NC15, NC20 or NC25. Again, hard to judge just by your avatar. And yes, some people have to mix and NC with an NW. I've had to do that for a few customers in the past. The best thing to do is go to the counter and get matched up.
