Help on makeup w/ my prom dress! and swimming, haha

Hey there ladies and gents, so i don't normally post here but i should start more often

Anyways, I bought this long prom dress at Windsor for 15 bucks... FIFTEEN!!!! it was on sale from 99$, okay before i digress I needed help on what to do with makeup :/ like eye makeup and lip color. I already decided on a tousled updo.

this is the most recent photo of me. i'm sorry about the pose, it was my first piece of sushi ever eaten, haha.

bleh camera lighting. I'm tanner like the picture above, but not that dark haha.

Also, with accessories would it clash too much if i wore gold? usually i prefer it, but i don't know if it'd look back with the rhinestones on the dress.

I would also like to add that I have a MAJOR swim suit tanline from being on the swim team. The embarrassing "X" and random looking "blotch" on my back...it shows with the back of my dress. Is there a fast way of getting rid of or hiding it?

You vould try a blue smokey eyes looks with either red lips or nude lips. Or you can go with the classic look of neautral eyes, heavy winged liner and red lips

what kind of accessories are you wearing? I cant really see the strap, so i duno as far as gold or silver... so far i'd say silver.


For the makeup i think a grey/pewter smokey eye would be hot. Colours like knight devin and pandamonium... Maybe with some reflects teal glitter applied lightly?
for lips i would say nude or pinky gloss.

I love the color for you.. I would probably go with silver or pewter accessories... As for makeup: I would keep it less glittery although definitely party makeup in shimmers and sheen. Colors: shades of pewter, grey, black liner, (smoky type), pink blush with some sheen, and a hot pink mouth

I would say some grey / silver smokey eye as well with a light pink lip.
As for accessories, I'd say silver is best with that color.

and just have someone apply your foundation to your back and set it so it doesn't rub off.

if you have tan lines on your back you could always buy some of that instant tan stuff. you put it on and it washes off. so that's good if it's just for the evening. i used one by no7 at boots however i'm sure sure if you get that in the us...

also i also think red lips would look super hot!

I would go with what little addict said..silver accessories and grey eyes pink lips..dont forget some blush

some e/s colors to look at: Knight Divine, electra, and vanilla. lippies: VGIV se, chatterbox with a reallly light hand, or Angel. blushes: pink swoon or fleur power. HTH
try to get your hands on some MAC leg spray foundation...gives an even hint of color for your tan lines. Sally Hansen makes something similar!
I wouldnt recc using a tanning lotion coz if you screw up the orangey blobs will be worse looking than just tan lines
