Hi guys... Pamela anderson was, well still is in Australia and I have been watching her look closely.. We were lucky enough to see her up close!.. I must say she looks super cute!.. Her trademark "batwing" eyeshadow and nude lip look has served her well.. I have posted a pic and just wanted some recs on the eyeshadow and lips... I myself thought it may be "smut" eyeshadow as I have "espresso" and its to light chocolate for pamela.. "smut" seems to be the closest shade I can see.. It was def a dark brown shade, almost muddy brown not at all "espresso" brown.. can I get some recs please.. Also with the lips notice the liner being darker than the lippy (I like it actually), its a bit early 90's but it very sex kitten.. I was guessing "spice" but I thought it may be a little dark, hers looks more plum like???... with the lippy I thought maybe "fleshpot".. its def not down the pink road, rather fleshy and slightly salmony???... any rec for her lips.. I did notice she dosent wear gloss.. Im a sucker for the "sex kitten" look.... hope you guys can help!

oh by the way.. as a brow highlighter I noticed also it isnt a stark white shade, nothing shimmery.. I thought maybe "vanilla" but maybe its a little vanilla if that makes sense.. is there a nice soft brow highlighter not too vanillaish or too white???.. in between more neutral to go with "smut"???... I also def ruled out "sketch" as it may be a little too purple brown.. thanks.. x

I dont know about the e/s but definitly try stripdown lip pencil and use 316 brush to applly myth lipstick and blend it in lightly. Sounds like a mess but I did this look yesterday on a customer (she asked so I did it!) and to my surprise it looked lovely! :0)

She forgot her pants?! Lol

And not that i have specific recs, but in that picture, her e/s looks more charcoal/black as opposed to brown. may just be my screen though.

BLANC TYPE. It's the matte2 formula, so it's wonderful to work with, and it's described as some sort of beige something or other. It looks quite light, and it's definitely not stark white. It's the highlight shadow love of my life.

Also, her eyeshadow in the picture really doesn't look brown to me, either. I have to agree to a more charcoal shade.

no I watched her doing that interview and the camera was right up close and it was def a dark brownish colour.. yes from that angle it looks like either "scene" or "print" but I had another look...

spice is pretty pink, so i'd definately steer clear of that for this look. stripdown would probably be a much better choice.

how about wedge or handwritten for the dark brown shadow?

glam8babe from this site did a great tutorial for this type of look, you can find it in the Makeup Tutorials section.

There's been some good advice from Specktra girls so far. I'd experiment with some different looks and see how close you can get to Pamela. One thing you might consider is going to a pro with that picture of Pamela and just seeing what she does. It might cost a little more money, but it would only be once and then you could copy it at home. I tried that with the Jennifer Aniston look (remember back when that was the thing to do?) before my high school prom. Try browsing through some beauty pros at Health Spas & Beauty Salons and see if you can't find someone you trust to do it for you and talk you through it. They do this kind of thing all the time!

Best of luck,
Gina

Bump...

Ok, so I'm newer to the whole makeup thing.. I've only been really doing it for about a year now..

I was wondering if anyone can either reccommend how to recreate Pam's makeup from when she was on the cover of Stuff magazine.. (Or possibly recreate on themselves and post pictures..) I would attach a better picture but I'm at work and our internet is monitored.. (I dont think they'd appreciate the pics that showed up if i googled pics of Pam, lol) This is the only picture I have of it... But I know if you google it you can find much clearer pictures.. I checked in the tutorial listed above, and this look was not mentioned... I love the way her makeup looks in this photoshoot... Thank you in advance!!
