When I wear my bright red lipstick, I use a light pink/neutral blush to even it out and am very light on the eye makeup. However, when I am wearing a neutral lipstick...I want that purple looking blush that celebrities wear. I have VERY pale skin and high cheekbones. Do any of you know what I mean with that purple blush? It seems to really bring out your cheekbones and make them look excellent. Suggestions? I need to know where to buy it. I know I have seen the look on many couture models too

my fave blush when I have light lips on is mac x-rocks, but it was a limited edition. the closest thing I have found to it is a blush by smashbox in their soft lights duo, its called action/shot. the bronzer part of it is actually really nice too, light and golden/peachy. to get your cheekbones to have that sculpted sexy look is really about placement of your blush and bronzer, I'm sure there are some tutorials on that around here........theres so much info on this site I haven't quite waded through it all yet!

The closest I can get to a purple blush in MAC is Coygirl.

How about using an eyeshadow? Or check the pro site.

Sin by NARS is a gorgeous berry blush with very fine shimmer. It's quite pigmented so you will need a light hand and probably a stippling brush like the 187. It's a beautiful blush - I suggest reading makeupalley's reviews to learn more about it.

Clinique has one called iced lotus. It's the prettiest plum blush if you're looking for something with cool tones. MAC's breath of plum is really nice too.
