Help with broken Studio Fix!

Hi everyone,

I recently bought Studio Fix nc40 compact, but I dropped my purse it was in and now it's completely cracked apart!

It started with a hairline crack, but as I've been carrying it around the cracks have spread and it's no longer 'compact' so to speak.

Needless to say I'm heartbroken

. Is there any way to fix this? Anyone else been in this situation?

My preferred way is to wrap your finger in cling wrap, having gotten all the powder into the pan and just press down firmly to work it back into a compact. There are other methods, where you mix it with pure alcohol (I think) and let the paste dry for a few days but it can take a long time and if you expose it to heat for too long, you can break down some of the important compounds.

Good luck!

I've used alcohol with broken e/s pans before, but wasn't sure about putting it in Studio Fix as it's not completely dry like e/s. I worry it'll curdle or something!

Thanks for the wrap suggestion, I'll try that.

Ive broken my studio fix a couple of times, and Ive usually just ground it up into a powder and used it like that. It gives me the same amount of coverage. It is harder to travel with though because the powder can get everywhere so if you want I suggest the alcohol method.

Same thing happened to me, so I just crushed it all and used it as a loose powder. As it's been said before, it gives the same coverage.

I'd like to try that but I don't have anything to hold the powder. What do you have? Or where would you get a 'powder pot'?

I have had that happen to me and what I did was crush it all up and put it in a 1 oz travel jar with sifter. And use it as if it was a mineral powder foundation with the 182 and buff it on OR use a powder brush to lightly brush it on the face. It will give you the same application =) hth!
