It looked lush when I bought it with the lovely pink shimmer/pearl yet when I put it on my eyes you cant notice it at all? Is it me or the eyeshadow?

No it's not you, even with a base it's a very light peachy pinky duo-chrome. It's a great highlighter or I wear it on my inner lid & crease with Juxt on my outer lid and Nylon under the brow for a pretty summery eye look. The gold in Juxt brings out the gold in it and I love it that way. Or you can wear it over another shade to change the color up a bit, add some warmth to it. It's actually pretty versatile.

It's the eyeshadow. You really have to pack on Motif for the colour to show up. I got my Motif from a swap and there was quite a dip in it, now I've had it for a while, I've hit pan! See what I mean? I have to use so my product to pick up the pigment, that's what happens. :p

Motif is very pretty as a highlighter for your pink/purple eyeshadows! That's my favourite way to use it. I've also used Motif on my cheeks to give a short of glow. I love it, but again, you have to use a lot of product!

I agree - pack it on! I had a lot of trouble with it looking yellowy on me, but then I was told about a fabulous combo by someone on here. Motif all over the lid, juxt on the outer v and paradisco in the crease. HOT!

maybe try canton candy paint under it? the pinkness of the paint as a base might bring out the color of the eyeshadow

I'm having trouble with mine too, I'm glad someone else posted about it! I love the water it looks just above the crease on the lower browbone, but it is still barely noticeable.

If you want it to look more orangey, try using mango mix s/s as a base, if you like pinky, use it with canton candy paint. I also love layering it with melon.
