Hey all,

I'm new to the forums and I'll immediately jump into posting.
So Wednesday I'll be going to the MAC shop in Brussels to get all new make-up stuff.

I currently use a powder from Loreal and Gray eyeshadow, ...
There are days that I don't use make-up mostly because I'm lazy.

I would appreciate some tips what to use :)

Here is me:

Yes I have freckles and some dark skin under my eyes. I do have to say that I wear glasses too (I have my contacts in on the pic)

Hope you can help me and give some advice :)

Eyeshadow ~ Browns and purples work very well with blue eyes. MAC has a massive selection of browns/neutrals. For a neutral I'd definitely recommend Satin Taupe. Maybe something like Coquette or Concrete will work as well (maybe even paired with ST?). Purples, there's a lot of love for Fig. 1 on here. I also kind of think Blackberry (more red-based purple) would work on you. You can also take a look at their pigments. Grape is a good one. I think you may even suit Teal as well. :) Blush ~ Something peach or warm pink would look stunning on you. Something like Melba, Tenderling, Gingerly, Pinch O' Peach, or Peachy Keen. I'd also recommend something like Harmony as a contour, to give your face a bit more definition. Lips ~ In this case, I think it depends a lot on colour preference. But a few basic colours to have are a red, a nude, and a pink. Foundation ~ can't help you much here; I don't use MAC's foundations. You'd have to be colour-matched for that. (BTW, personally, I wouldn't try to cover up your freckles.) Concealer ~ If they didn't discontinue Studio Sculpt Concealer, I'd recommend that. But since it is... I think the most rated one is Studio Finish. You can use it under the eyes with a light hand. *nods* Brushes ~ For eyes, definitely a 239 and 217. A 239 is flat and stiff, good for packing colour on to the lid. A 217 is semi-stiff and tapered at the top, good for blending colours out or applying them to the crease. I think others here would also recommend a 224 -- good for applying a soft wash of colour to the crease, or for more diffused blending, or even for applying concealer under the eye. For the face... the only MAC face brush I've used is the 116. They designate it for blush but, personally, I prefer it for contouring. I hope this is useful! If all else fails, ask a sales associate to help you out when you go. :)
