Help with Studio Sculpt shades??

I really want to try this foundation out as I've heard awesome things about it. I've hear it runs dark, then some say it doesn't. I usually use C3 in F&B and C30ish (never found a perfect match) in Studiofix. IIRC, Studiofix Fluid NC25 was rather light on me and NC30 had the right amount of yellow, but was rather dark

I'm light but have a TON of yellow in my skin, so matching is always a pain! I think I'm a tad darker than my avatar pic, thanks to Xen-Tan

this foundation is definately one that you need to be matched in person with. the pinks run yellow, and the yellows run pink. some say they run darker, but i find them to be true to colour (minus the pink/yellow thing i just mentioned).

I always get matched so badly at MAC counters! I think it's usually the crummy lighting.

take a compact with you when you go. once they match you, go outside and look in the mirror and see how it looks. sadly, we have to do the same thing. we either take the customer out into the mall under the skylights or we walk them outside and look. see if the artist will go with you too. that way they can take a look themselves and can decide if the colour is the right undertone and if its too light or too dark. sometimes customers don't know the right wording to use to describe what they don't like about the colour. if the artist is there with them, it makes it a bit easier. or should atleast.

good luck!
