if you use a foundation that causes breakouts and you use primer under the foundation, will it still cause you to break out?

i'm asking this because I am using sample of MAC Studio Fix Fluid and I like the coverage but after two days of using it, I started to break out. Anyone using MAC, know other MAC foundations that doesn't cause breakouts after a few days of usage.

I havent broken out yet but I know if I dont exfoliate I will get some. You may want to try exfoliating once or twice a week maybe it will help.
I dont think Primer protects against what is making you break out if you are allergic or something like that. I could be wrong though...

i have never broken out before with other foundations and this is the first time. maybe its a ingredient that is in MAC that my face doesn't like.

sff has something in it that causes breakouts in a lot of ppl... ive seen some posts around here about that.. you might wanna look it up or ask your M.A.

If you're getting reactive breakouts to Fix Fluid, then I certainly wouldn't then go and apply silicon to the affected area. It'd be akin to smothering your skin when what it really needs is to breathe in order to dry out any spots.
