so i dyed my black hair burgandy and only the roots took the color so now i need the whole thing re-dyed.. any ideas? I have never gotten my hair colored in a salon lol so i have no idea what i want.. i know i wants some highligts so any ideas would be amazing.. thanks !!!!

was your hair dyed black before or was that natural?

If your hair was black before or even dark brown, that should be fine to dye it over. I'd wait a few days, treat your hair well (deep conditioning and hot oils on it), and then I'd re-dye it.

You gonna have to re-dye your hair the color you dyed it before or strip all the color out of it and then dye it. Thats what i just did. You really cany dye over black... it sucks!

It looks like your hair is too dark to take the color- I'm thinking you might have to get it stripped, and then dye it. Little tip: If you know what you want the end result to look like, let the stylist know then they can always figure out how to get that look.

thanks all!!! so i had them dye my roots dark so they matched my whole head.. and eventually i will have to get my hair stripped grrr.. but im going to wait a while

it was one of the choices as the slogan background..idk it was called like "sexy" or something
