I'm a newbie, so be gentle please.

I'm new to MAC and I have just placed my first order online yesterday for a few things. I'm open to suggestions, I don't have a MAC very close to me. The nearest one is in Nashville so I'm kind of relying on the MAC website, you guys, and YT for info. (Yes, I have been lurking. LOL) I have a feeling that if what I hear/see is true, I'll soon be a MAC addict. Thanks!

Online. HAHAHA

Seriously...or all the way in Nashville to the pro store at green hills...but I don't like going there as everyone has their nose in the air.

Since I'm new to all of this I'm kinda intimidated by a store. It is quite a ways to go also. So, I'm doing the online ordering and I hope I'm doing it right, I'm kind of guessing at colors since I haven't been colormatched.

For the Studio Fix Powder, I ordered it in NC25 but now I'm worried that it will be too dark or too light. I shall soon find out, they shipped my order today. I also ordered Peachykeen blush, Da Bling e/s and the Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick. I'm guessing it's hit or miss but hopefully it will give me some idea of what is close to my color. The clinique foundation just isn't cutting it anymore. I put up a post under MAC chat about the studio fix colors but no one has replied yet.

hmm. The only thing I have to help you match up with is NW20 concealer.

I'm trying to get matched up too, but I have a friend sending me samples. I might be able to send the ones that are def no-gos after I'm done.

Thanks! I should have a better idea when my order comes in. I did some research about their foundations and colormatching and gave it my best shot. Hopefully, I can return it if it's a complete no-go or find someone else who can use it. Thanks for the advice it is greatly appreciated!

No prob. I'm pretty sure you can. If you know your colors in other foundations, I might be able to help. Like, I'm a clair 2 in lancome. So, i think that's about the same as NW20. But, I'm not a makeup artist. There are some girls on here who are crazy talented on matching skin colors just by a picture, you can try that!
