Highlighting dark areas of the face?

How do you deal with those dark shadowy areas on your face?

For example, my nose is very defined, and in face-forward head shots, it seems as though my nose is 'outlined.' I'd really like to hide those shadows, but concealer doesn't do much other than making it more opaque. I've heard light reflecting concealers are good for things like this, and someone rec'd Touche Eclat...would that be suitable for my issue? Also, I have yellow-olive toned skin, would their available shades work with my undertones?

Do you have any other recommendations for products that might help?
I might be able to provide a pic if my description is hard to imagine...

edit: think of it like dark circles, but for the sides of my nose...lol. maybe neutralizing concealers?

Have you tried Armani's fluid sheer? Le Touche d'Eclat could work for your skin tone, but its staying power leaves much to be desired.

I would go to an Armani Counter and check them out.

Or you could use a powder, like MUFE's Shine-On pressed powder, they have gorgeous shades that are pearly but not glittery.

BinkysBaby - I don't own any MSFs, but I have a few other highlighting powders I've been toying with...but they're too shimmery for wearing on my nose in the day since I'm very oily. But I want to check out MSFs at a counter since I'm sure the texture is better and may work out

Kiseki - I have to check out those fluid sheers! I checked the site, and it looks like it may be what I need...just gotta figure out what color I'd need for the shadows...thanks!

Depending on your skin tone you can get away with the yellow (which is actually golden), white (it's the one I use, but I'm NC20) or a one of the peachy or pink ones if they neutralize the shade of that darkness. I'd definitely go to a counter as they are a bit expensive and the best is you can blend them with a bit of foundation for their highlighting properties and still keep it natural or apply them over (or under) foundation with a brush like the 190 (that's how I use mine).

Hope this helps.
