I'm new to the forums-- been browsing for quite a while, but finally decided to de-lurk. I help run Heavenly Hair (Welcome to Heavenly Hair :: Index), a hair extensions board, and heard about the site from members there.
I'm a colourist but not currently working in the salon. I moved from Dallas to Mississippi (*sob*) and am considering picking up my LA and MS licenses and doing colour again. But, we'll see!
ANYHOW, I love MAC and have been using their products for around 10 years. Other than MAC I use a ton of Ben Nye. Their Lumiere shadows are very pigmented and blend beautifully, and the MagiColor Aqua Glitter is pretty much the best glitter ever.
I really am hopelessly attracted to the shiny-- bright colours, glitter and sparkle catch my eye and I have to buy them! I rarely actually wear bright makeup out of the house but I love it.
I could ramble about cosmetics for a long time, so I'm going to stop here before this gets too long
