holy lashes, batman

So I replaced my beloved "aged" tube of Maybelline Volum Express Turbo Boost waterproof mascara (so many words for one product name, jeez) for a new tube.

I forgot how annoying this mascara is when new--the formula is very gel-like and takes a while to dry, so it gets on my lids and I have to keep redoing my eyeshadow.

However, I also forgot that this stuff is probably the best lengthening mascara I've ever used! So I'll put up with its annoying side, the other things make up for it.

Oh yeah, pictures. These were taken a while after I'd done my eyes, so the lashes had already "wilted" a little, but they still look pretty long.

Please excuse my ghostly white face, I'd just applied sunscren and it hadn't settled in yet.

do you curl your lashes after you put on mascara? they look a little like they stand at 90 degree angles. try to go for a softer, more natural looking curl.

i like the fact that it looks completely unnatural, since i never wear dramatic eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, foundation or bronzer. if i wanted a natural look i wouldn't wear mascara at all (i always have to curl them before and after applying mascara, otherwise they go back to being absolutely straight, so it looks the same regardless of what kind of mascara i use).
