Homecoming hair?

I really don't have money to spend to go to a salon to do get my hair done for homecoming, and I don't think it's really a big deal. So I'll be doing my hair myself, I'm just not exactly sure what to do.
I'm no hair expert, so looks that are fairly easy, and I think I'd rather have it down than up.
Suggestions, anyone?

you could always do voluminous curls or waves!
What kind of dress do you have? the style of dress might make one hairstyle look better than another.

Oh, awesome! Most of them recommend hot rollers, so I suppose I'll just see how mine turns out.

Soryr I forgot to check back here! I do volumized curls all the time here's how I do it:

1. make sure your hair is dry
2. spray your hair with curling spray, hairspray and even put some gel into it but make sure you get your hair with ALOT of product - trust me, it will last all through the night!!
3. Then take sections and with a large curling iron (mine is 1 1/2 inch i believe) WRAP the hair around the barrel. don't use the clamp. Alternate directions, some facing toward the face, others twisting away from the face.
4. After it is all done, tip your head upside down and spray a ton of hairspray. Then when you flip your head up it will be really curled and very volumized
