homemade cosmetics?

I'm in the process of making my own eyeshadows, I'm even pressing them like some of you do with your MAC pigments.

This is what I've got so far:

Has anyone else ever tried making their own makeup?

Me! I haven't done anything advanced yet though, only lipgloss. I gave some as gifts and they were really popular though. I have also made some soaps, with the melt & pour-method.

How do you make eyeshadow? It seems advanced.

i know a girl who makes her own eyeshadow, though she doesn't press them...they're just loose pigment shadows. you know, it can actually be a really good business if you go into making custom colours for people...or if you make dupes of old, discontinued MAC stuff like Parrot, Guacamole or Judy Blue
