Can anyone rec a good tutorial for eye makeup for hooded eyes? By hooded I mean that when my eyes are open my brow bone covers my eyelid.

do a youtube search, I'm sure there is one out there! yesterday I saw a tutorial for brewing coffee, and one for mopping. I kid you not. If you were raised in the wilderness by wolves you could rejoin society simply by watching youtube videos.

^^^ But you'd have to watch a youtube video tutorial on watching youtube video tutorials...and then the influx capacitor would break, and the universe would implode.
Sorry....long day.
Anyway, have you searched the tutorials on here? I'm sure there's gotta be at least ONE person on Specktra with the same issue...

there is a tutorial on here for hooded eyes (I have them too!) but do not remember what it was called...that was wonderful!! She used an eyeliner pencil to 'draw' in the crease where she wants it to be and blends then uses whatever eyeshadow crease color...I've tried it with success..

Well I would say do searches in this site's tutorial section, find someone whose shape and color placement you like, then do an advanced search by user name/first post.

If you don't mind me giving a personal suggestion, I'd probably work with highlighting the inner corners of your eyes in addition to your brow. The shape of your eye looks a lot like my friend's and that's what I usually do on hers.

Wow! Has anybody told you you look like Sophia Bush? Lucky!

A great smokey-eyed look & lighter on the lids should really bring balance.

Try google searching. I just did a youtube search ("makeup for hooded eyes") & alot are coming up.

Thanks, I only get told that when people see pictures. I don't think I look like her in real life, oddly.
