You can spray Fix+ after powder touchups so it looks fresher and lighter. I also think mascara doen't need to be reapplied.

A small spritz bottle filled with distilled water and lightly misted onto your skin can have a similar effect to the fix+, and is much cheaper. You can add a small amount of glycerine and green tea extract if you wish, to make it a bit more similar to fix+.

eye primer for the eyes
A good base for foundation...be it a primer or just a good moisturizer

Evian mineral water spray. You can get on Sephora.com or in drugstores. Long's near me keeps it in the moisturizer area. Another one keeps in the skincare isle.
I could never use Fix+ my skin just didn't agree with it.
Also MG's idea w/the distilled water is great! Green tea extract is wonderful!
Just remember to change the water every so often.

Typically for me gel or cream blush will last all day but powder blush fades. A good type is to apply like UD primer potion in the area where you will put the powder blush and let it dry. works like a charm! MAC paints or any other eye primer will work. Just tap it on over your foundation. If using Gel or cream and you don't have any blemishes in the cheek area you can apply the gel or cream before you foundation and then lightly apply your foundation in that area and reapply the blush.

If you don't really like silicone based primers ( I don't or rather my skin doesn't ) Get yourself some good old MoM! Milk of Magneisa! Just get the regular kind. Nothing fancy like flavored or anything like that. After your mositurizer has set in lightly apply some MoM (shake bottle first) let it dry. A light coat is all that is needed. If you see any what spots once it's dry just dab with wet finger or cotton ball. Now apply your makeup. Yes, it's safe to use on the face and it will help keep your makeup in place. I use it everyday.

Blot, Blot, Blot!

Also keep your hands away from your face!

BTW I am a very oily skinned gal.

I know I saw a post somewhere with more info...I'll have to look for it.

avene makes a mineral water spray but it makes make-up run, it's more to be used as a toner. but i love using fix +, a RMK herbal mist, or a homemade one. i distilled (majorly) some green tea and it's lovely and refershing. i love keeping a spray of anything in the fridge then spraying it on hot days and oh how lovely.

i agree with 'Nessa. Definetly get a make-up base. I love Chanel's, MAC's and RMK's. MAC's prep n prime skin is awesome.

i also find that powders fade on me. so under my blush i apply a ccb, or a glimmershimmer type prodcut like benefits highbeam. mm lovely. lasts all day generally. but i'm going to move onto cream products only now since i don't like the completely matte, almost powdery look.

Using a base (paints) under my eyeshadow and fluidlines has made a huge difference in how my makeup appears after wearing it all day. I may not think it feels the greatest but it certainly holds up. I like the CCB or blushcreme helps hold my blush look together.
