how do you deal when your meds make you depressed

i'm taking a med. that I am happy to take....but it leaves me so NOT LIKE myself...my hubby and i can't stand it.... i lay around all day i don't want to leave the house...on top of the fact i take it twice a day and it makes me REALLY REALLY SLEEPY.....so sleepy..it's like I'm drugged (no pun intent.) and i can't drive... i even slurr and sound just nuts until about 2pm....

but like i said I HAVE TO TAKE this for reason's I will not say...(you may guess but I will not tell)


so i just wanted to know...anyone else hae this issue with meds...that they just make you NOT YOU??? how do you deal?

Give them a month and if they're still bothering you, talk to your doctor.

I just recently went off of the Nuvaring because I am convinced it was making me loopy. I really thought I was losing my mind, plus I couldn't sleep at all. I was a zombie. Within two weeks of going off of it, I felt noticeably better.

To me, its not worth the trouble. Go to your doctor and find a different form, especially if its birth control. There are SO many forms of birth control these days.
