How do you touch up your lips after your done eating?

I was wondering if you girls just wipe off anything left before reapplying everything (primer,lipstick and lipgloss) or do you just put your gloss on top of everything?
Because when I try to just apply gloss on top there's always lots of dead skin showing so I end up having to wipe everything off to pull out all the dead skin and then reapply everything. :S

I do just put on more gloss, but I don't have dry lips most of the time. If you have a lot of dead skin on your lips try exfoliating before you apply your makeup. I would just exfoliate your lips and put lip balm on while you do the rest of your makeup and then wipe off the balm and apply the lippies. I hope that this helps you!

as the above [poster just said use some balm first! ni always carry a lipsmacker in my bag as well as a gloss. that way i pat some smacker on. let it settle for a moment and then gloss up my lips! perfect looking and moist!

I always remove everything and reapply my lip conditioner first. Usually I wait a minute or two, blot off the lip conditioner, and start again. Having said that, I'm somewhat hopeless at reapplying my lip products during the day, often I end up just wearing some tinted lip balm instead.
