Hey!! I got a sample yesterday of the antique gold reflects glitter from the Originals Colelction when i dropped by MAC! I couldn't believe how sexy it looked! Its really nice on too but i was wondering how you guys use your glitters and if you have an helpful tips or tricks? I'm going back on boxing day to buy a full jar! A MA there was wearing it and it looked so nice...she had on some darker colour underneath & i wanted to ask her but she got busy! Ohhh and i also got the reflects glitters from the 2 curiositease pigment sets and i'm not sure how to use them? Do you just put it over your eyeshadow? Thanks for all your input!!!

Yeah I usually just brush them on over my eyeshadow, or if I'm using one of my pigments as a liner I'll throw in a little bit of glitter to make it prettier.

And I'm kind of considering mixing a little blacktrack fluidline with my Antique Gold glitter to see how it looks

You just brush it onto your shadow. You could probably use fix+ or a mixing medium to stick longer. I LOVELOVELOVE the reflects glitters

I bought them all from the originals collection, and the from the two holiday pigment sets.

I have just been patting them on over pigments and shadows. I just tried Reflects Antique Gold over Quarry MES and it was soo pretty. I also tried it over Cocomotion pigment. Oh. My. God!!!

i use fix+ to wet my brush then dip it in the glitter. i apply it on top of my shadows that way. i also mix it with some ezr and apply to the eye/face (wherever) and it stays all day without flaking off.

reflects antique gold looks awesome on top of moss scape paint pot!

Aside from the uses listed above, I like using my reflect glitter on my cheeks as a highlight. Antiqued Gold is a good one for that, and so is the Blackened Red one for more of a blush (but you have to be careful using this one as a blush, or else it can look pretty damn crazy if you use too much).

I don't have Blackened Red yet, but plan to get it.
Does anyone know if that one's lip safe?

Defenetly give Mixing Medium a try, it's magic! The glitter just stays on all day. I didn't have much success with Visine or using it wet, but you might want to give those a try too.

Enjoy they glitters! They are wonderful!

I think so. The MA I went to yesterday mixed it with clear lipglass for me. It was really pretty.

I'll answer my own question. An online MUA told me that, as far as she knows, all of the Reflects Glitters are lip safe. She doesn't think any of them are eye safe, though.

All of the glitters in the Originals collection are lip and eye safe. I wore Burning lipstick with Very Pink Reflects Glitter yesterday and it looked awesome.

OMG thanks for posting this!! I got reflects antique gold in my stocking for Christmas and I loved it but I needed some ideas on how to use it. I actually used it over a green shadow (can't remember if it was Swimming or the Skipper one from the Barbie collection) and it looked nice IMO.

The blackened red glitter actually looks more like a red brown, IMO. If you got one of the true red Pro glitters though...oh baby.

MAC Pro has the Eyeliner Gel Mixing Medium that you can use to mix any pigments or glitters and use them as an eyeliner so that it'll adhere on your upper and lower lash line better. It's $11.00 I believe.

Here's the product description from MAC Pro for the Eyeliner Mixing Medium:

A colorless, translucent mixing medium that can be mixed with pigments and glitter to create unique customized eyeliner shades. Contains Vitamins A, C and E to buffer the delicate skin around the eye area from environmental aggression. Non-irritating and suitable for all skin types.
10ml/0.33 US oz tube
