How do you wear lipglass pencils?

Hi. I recently bought MAC's lipglass pencil in Pink Edge. I tried it on and it's totally not like lip pencils which are more solid, etc. Any recommendations on how to use lipglass pencils...are they meant to be lined before or after lip application? HELP!

I use them just like any other lipliner from the perm line: Prep my lips, then line (and fill in, if you like), then apply a lipstick and gloss on top. If you want to skip the lipstick, you can just line with the lipglass pencil, then proceed to apply gloss directly on top.
They are sheerer, smoother (or slippery), and a lot softer than regular pencils though - and I find they get used up a lot quicker because of the consistency - that's the only thing I don't quite like about them

use them before you apply your lipgloss. I even use the pencil on it's own because it has a sheen to it already. Just line your lips as normal then rub your lips together that's it!

I love the colors of the lip glass pencils but find they dont last so long. So what I do is first apply a really light application of a nude regular liner (one really close to my lip color), and then I apply the lipglass pencil and I either use a Slimshine lipstick with them (which I find work great), or a lipglass.
